Children
Eclipze Hair Salon & Day Spa is an adult-oriented facility. To maintain a relaxing atmosphere, infants and children under thirteen (13) years of age are not allowed in the salon or lobby/reception area except for the duration of the child’s service.
Likewise, children are not permitted to wait in the salon or lobby/reception area while a parent or sibling is receiving a service. This policy enables all salon and spa guests to relax and enjoy their stay with us. Please make childcare arrangements before your scheduled appointment. Management and your fellow patrons thank you for your cooperation.
This policy is strictly enforced, with no exceptions.
Alcoholic Beverages
Services such as massage therapy and body treatments enhance circulation, thus severely increasing the effects of alcohol. While we are happy to serve complimentary wine to our guests, due to safety and health concerns, alcoholic beverages CANNOT be consumed by clients receiving those services. Since we are always concerned about our clients' safety, we limit wine/champagne consumption to no more than one glass, and it is served after 5 pm.
Proof of age may be required before receiving complimentary wine.
Valuables
Eclipze Hair Salon & Day Spa is not responsible for any lost property. Please do not bring jewelry or other valuables to your appointment.
Cell Phones
For the comfort and enjoyment of all our guests, we request that you turn cell phones and pagers to “vibrate” and limit their use inside the salon. In addition, to preserve a peaceful and relaxing spa environment, the use of cell phones is not permitted in the spa area. Management and your fellow patrons thank you for your cooperation.
Scheduling
Please feel free to call us, book online, or walkin to schedule your appointment - one of our Front Desk Co-Ordinators will be happy to assist you. If you call during non-business hours, please leave a message with your appointment request and provide us with your daytime and evening phone numbers. We will call you back as soon as possible.
Since our technicians & hairstylist often get booked up weeks in advance, we always recommend that you schedule your next appointment before leaving. This will ensure that you have an appointment that works best with your schedule.
Standing appointments are also available and encouraged to ensure that your preferred day and time will always be reserved for you.
Appointment reminder calls/emails are sent 48-72 hours before your scheduled appointment. Please be sure to keep us up to date with all of your contact numbers. While we make every attempt to reach you by phone, if for any reason we are unsuccessful in contacting you personally, please feel free to call or email us to confirm your appointment.
While we do our best to run on time, unfortunately, situations may occur from time to time that put us behind schedule. We will do our best to keep you from waiting.
Cayman Brac visiting Residents receive 10% off all services, seniors (65 and over) receive $10 off all services, and Camana Bay residents & employees receive the Camana Bay PERKS. Please provide proof of your work /personal ID upon arrival at your appointment to the Front Desk Co-ordinator to have it applied to your services.
Spa Services
It is important to inform your Beauty Therapist of any medical conditions you may have on your consultation form. Please feel free to discuss any questions or concerns with your Beauty Therapist.
A Parent or Legal Guardian must sign a consent form for any child under eighteen (18) years of age wishing to receive spa treatments. These include ear candling, waxing, massage, facials, microdermabrasion, microblading, eyelashes, permanent makeup, body wraps, nail services, etc.
Pregnant women under 18 years of age, or above, who are experiencing difficulty with their pregnancy must have written doctor’s consent to receive any reflexology or massage therapy treatment.
New Spa Clients: Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled spa services to complete the necessary health information forms.
Gift Certificates
Gift Certificates are available for any dollar amount, service, or package from $25 and up. They may be purchased in person, online, or by telephone. Gift Certificates may be mailed to any address specified by the purchaser.
Gift Certificate purchases via telephone require a credit card authorization form to be completed.
Due to the many variations of Custom Gift Certificates, they must be purchased in person or by telephone. The final payment transaction cannot be purchased online. Gift Cards with a dollar amount can be purchased online and in person.
Gift Certificates expire 3 months from the date of purchase and are non-refundable and non-redeemable for cash.
Although substitutions cannot be made on Spa Packages, you may use the full purchase price of your gift certificate toward any services of your choice.
To avoid booking errors when scheduling Gift Certificate appointments, please inform the Front Desk Coordinator in detail of every service you are to receive.
Gift Certificates do not include gratuity. You may, however, request that gratuity be added to the total at the time of your gift certificate purchase.
If you are using a Gift Certificate as your form of payment, please present it to the Front Desk Coordinator upon check-in and before receiving your service.
Groups / Packages
Due to the complexity involved in scheduling Day Spa Packages, services cannot be substituted. If desired, one of our Front Desk Coordinators will be happy to assist you in designing a customized package that best suits your individual needs.
We recommend that appointments, especially packages, be booked well in advance so that we may meet your scheduling needs. Please note that evenings and weekends are the most requested times; packages or lengthy appointments may require two to four weeks of advance scheduling. Wedding parties and groups should be scheduled at least three to six months in advance.
Groups and wedding parties are required to give 2 weeks - month notice of a cancellation, depending on the service and size of the group. Other services also include Hair Extensions, Japanese Straightening, Kerasilk Keratin, Microblading, Nanotherapy, Permanent Makeup, and Eyelash Extensions.
Cancellations / No Shows
A 24-hour notice is required if you must cancel or reschedule your appointment. Groups and wedding parties are required to give 2 weeks' - month notice, depending on the service and size of the group.
Remember, your services are reserved especially for you. A 50% credit card deposit/guarantee is required on all groups, wedding parties, multiple spa services (2 weeks), specialty, and/or lengthy services such as Japanese Straightening, Microshading/Microblading, Permanent Makeup, Nanotherapy, Kerasilk Keratin, Hair Botox treatment, Eyelash Extensions. This guarantee is NON-REFUNDABLE if the required cancellation notice is not given. If payment is to be by Gift Certificate, an amount equal to 50% of the scheduled services will be applied against the Gift Certificate balance.
In addition, a deposit/guarantee may be required on appointments scheduled during times of high demand, such as New Year’s Eve, Valentine’s Day, Christmas, Mother's Day, Father's Day, etc.
Please keep in mind that our policies are created to allow for effective scheduling and to ensure that all clients wishing to receive services may be accommodated. Please be considerate of other clients who may be able to utilize your appointment time.
Late Arrivals
If you foresee that you may be late for your scheduled appointment, please call us. While your hairstylist /technician/beauty therapist will make every effort to accommodate you, please be advised that we may be unable to extend a late arrival’s scheduled service so as not to inconvenience our other patrons. Therefore, part or all of your scheduled service may have to be scheduled with another hairstylist /technician/beauty therapist, shortened, or rescheduled.
Payment / Returns
We accept cash, local bank Debit Cards, Visa, MasterCard & the Camana Bay Card (no third-party).
While your credit & debit cards are welcome, please note that we CANNOT accept third-party credit or debit cards without prior written authorization. The person signing the credit card receipt MUST do so in our presence and present valid I.D., or have previously completed an authorization form.
For those wishing to show appreciation for a job well done, gratuities for your hairstylist /technician/beauty therapist can be left at the front desk, placed on your debit /credit card during payment, or given to them directly.
If you are using a gift certificate as payment, please present it to the Front Desk Coordinator upon check-in, and before receiving your service.
All retail products and gift certificates are final sales; no exchanges or refunds will be given.
Defective products will be replaced within 3 days of purchase.
All sales on services, products, gift packages/certificates, and package series are final. It is our policy not to give refunds on any form of payment.
Product and service prices are subject to change without notice.
Satisfaction Guarantee
If your service does not meet your expectations, return within 3 days. While we cannot give cash or credit refunds, we will perform any service necessary to resolve the problem to your satisfaction at no cost.
Please note, however, that chemical services will be guaranteed ONLY when products recommended by salon hairstylist /technician/beauty therapist and purchased at our salon are used for the care of your hair.
A waiver will need to be signed if any personal products other than those purchased from us are used.
